What does it mean to affirm?

Home » Advanced, Blog, Student Posts, Videos, Vocabulary » What does it mean to affirm?

The verb affirm means to reinforce positivity or to confirm that something is true. I try to affirm my students in their language learning on a daily basis so they are encouraged to continue to work hard on their English.

What are some ways you affirm those around you today?
