What does it mean to alienate?

Home » Advanced, Blog, Student Posts, Videos, Vocabulary » What does it mean to alienate?

To alienate means to estrange, move away from or become hostile towards. If one persons was forced to leave a group or a club, that person has been alienated. Most of the time it isn’t fun to be alienated, but some people choose to alienate themselves by moving out to the middle of the forest or country to be alone.
