Home » Advanced, Blog, Student Posts, Videos, Vocabulary » What does allure mean?

The verb allure means to attract, fascinate or charm with something desirable. Stores will often allure customers in with special offers, discounts and sales or by putting pretty outfits or unique merchandise in the front store window.

What other things can be alluring? Have you ever felt allured?
